First blog of RW class!!
Our teacher is Ken Enochs who taught us about future technology last term. I like the name Enoken but it sounds a little Japanese so maybe I will try different names.
I am excited for RW classes because I am interested in learning about social interactions and leadership. When I first got the email about what our class was going to be about I was drawn in from then because I was reading a book called "Lean In" by Sheryl Sandburg the CEO of Facebook. She talks about women in business and being on top. It is interesting so far.
We learned about handshakes today and I learned that it has more to it than grabbing the other's hand and moving it up and down. Handshakes need to be BREIF, WARM and FIRM. It has to come smooth and naturally. It was interesting to see the presidents or prime ministers on the right side so that they seem powerful.
I want to learn more about these kinds of things so I can be confident when going to a business meeting or in my social life.

Hi Izumi,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed talking to you about Sheryl Sandburg and seeing your post about and picture of her as well. This all makes for a great first post—thanks.

IZUMI!! :D
ReplyDeleteI remember you telling me about this book over the summer and how it is really inspiring and a great read. Can I borrow sometime after we are done with the book for class (and after I finish reading the one I borrowed from Yusuke lol)?
